Location. Positioned at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area, Eagle Ridge Lodge and Townhomes is one quarter mile from shopping and dining in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Summer or winter, Steamboat is the place to be for outdoor recreation. Opportunities exist for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and of course skiing and snowboarding. Dozens of galleries and almost 70 bars and restaurants are positioned about town, providing plenty of off mountain entertainment. Lincoln Avenue, primarily between Fifth and Ninth Streets, is where most of the more interesting galleries and shops are located. The Strawberry Park Hot Springs are just over five miles from the condos and several more exist nearby.
Hotel Features. The lodge features an outdoor pool, a jetted tub and a fitness center with cardio equipment. Ski shuttles and storage are provided and the staff can assist with concierge and wedding services. The Clubhouse offers morning coffee and donuts during ski season and use of a computer and complimentary high speed Internet access. Barbeque grills are located on site for guest use.
Guestrooms. The two , three and four bedroom accommodations feature unique dcor that lends a warm ambience to the mountain retreat. Balconies and fireplaces further the cause, and laundry equipment and kitchens allow for autonomy. Entertainment amenities include CD stereos, VCRs and cable television with premium channels. In room child care can be arranged and dial up Internet access is complimentary.
Expert Tip. Steamboat Lake State Park, 28 miles north of Steamboat, offers plenty of recreation options, including swimming, canoeing and boating in the summer. In the winter, the park offers ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
